Vesper Specialty Pharmacy is proud to offer a free delivery service to our customers. Due to the volume of customers that rely on this service, it has become necessary to implement new policies so that we can better manage our staff and costs involved to have the ability to continue to offer this service for free.
Requirements for Retail Delivery: (Facility/Special Office Exempt)
This service is free only if a prescription item is being delivered. Over-the-Counter items may accompany the prescriptions as needed but if a customer is requesting only an Over-the-Counter item without a prescription there will be a $10.00 fee added to the cost.
Vesper Specialty Pharmacy needs to have at least 24 hour notice for a delivery request for a refill to allow us adequate time to contact the prescriber for refills if needed, process, prepare and deliver your medication. Same-Day Delivery is available on most prescriptions if the prescription is at the pharmacy, in stock and already processed and ready before 10:45am.
Each customer of Vesper Specialty Pharmacy is allowed two (2) free deliveries of refilled prescriptions per month; any additional refilled deliveries within the month will cost $10.00 per delivery. Vesper Specialty Pharmacy will not charge a fee for a second delivery if it is a new prescription or change in a medication that needs to be delivered, within reason. Free Delivery is not available if only one medication or a controlled substance is requested. Medications need to be grouped, or there will be an additional cost of $10.00 per delivery.
If a customer is not home for a requested delivery, the Delivery Driver will bring the prescription back to the pharmacy and will be available for the customer or authorized representative to pick up. If you prefer to have a second delivery attempt made, you will need to call the pharmacy and there will be a second delivery fee of $10.00. Vesper Specialty Pharmacy will not attempt a third delivery. If a second delivery is not completed the prescription order will remain at the pharmacy to be picked up. If the customer misses two deliveries (concurrent or separate) the patient will no longer be eligible for free delivery. (No Exceptions)
Payment is required before a delivery is made. Our staff will obtain your credit or debit card and keep in an encrypted file attached to your account. No charges will be made without approval. Deliveries will not be made without scheduling with the customer; no auto-deliveries.
Our Retail Customers must provide reasonable access to the delivery location so that the delivery drivers are able to safely deliver the prescriptions.
We do not provide specific times for delivery. We offer a delivery window that is between 1pm and 6pm and on occasion if available 9am to 1pm. If a specific time is requested there will be an additional cost of $30.00 attached to the delivery.
Delivery is available only in the local, Las Vegas and Henderson Area only. Prescriptions cannot be mailed out of town/ or state.
At time of delivery, the customer or authorized agent over the age of 18 must be present to sign a “proof of delivery” to indicate receipt of delivery. A prescription delivery cannot be left without obtaining a signature.
